The Waitaki Art Trail invites you to visit artists in their studios and enjoy the colourful and sometimes quirky atmosphere created within our community.

We open our studios to the public once or twice a year, and many artists are also available at other times to suit you. Our vision is to raise the profile of the local art community, showcase each artist’s unique style, and present it to everyone in an open and friendly space.

If you enjoy art, this opportunity offers you a wide variety to choose from. We would like to invite you to relax and enjoy the scenic drive around the Waitaki District, whilst having fun interacting with local artists and seeing them at work in their “office” studios.
